Businesses
​

I have created many small businesses, including unit economics, branding, shark tank, and brochures. I have earned over $2,000 from these little businesses, and I am learning so much every time. I now know how to discuss percentages with a business partner, calculate all of my unit economics, make an attractive logo, create a 30-second strong sales pitch, and run a stand. Advertise with email and text

Soft Skills​
​​

I am best at myself. I can be anything that I need to be (or I can learn) while still having my own identity. Here are my soft skills:

​

  • Seeing needs around me and meeting them without being asked ​

  • Being aware of what I need to change to improve 

  • Differentiating if someone needs to stick to the letter of the law or spirit of the law (justice vs mercy) 

  • Hearing both sides in an argument and helping resolve it

  • Listening and stepping in when it is needed 

  • Leading a group and keeping a common why 

  • I am a strong leader but also make mistakes while still holding respect and admiration. 

  • knowing the boundaries between mercy and justice ​​​​

  • I enjoy thinking, discovering new solutions, and making change and things better.

Service:​
  • I have completed 400+ service hours 

  • I was the full-time teacher for a group of 15 kids ages 8-12 for two days. 

  • I went to Mexico to build a house for a family who didn't have one

  • I led the yearbook crew and did most of the editing and collecting photos. 

  • I volunteered at the Charlie Center

  • I volunteered at Feed my starving children 5 times.

  • I helped set up and take down eight studios/schools. 

  • I have been a peer mentor for three learners on their reading and writing skills. 

  • I spread mulch to 20+ houses.

Leadership:​
  • I was on the council 8 times.

  • I was on the excellence committee for 4 times 

  • I am the designated Sheepdog to represent our school

  • I have helped create 2 studios - making all the rules, holding accountability, making the schedule, etc. (Adventure Acton Bee Cave and LP Acton Bee Cave) 

  • I was president of my YW church group 

  • I helped plan 2 trips for our school. (almost no adult involvement) We budgeted, found an Airbnb, got directions around the city, learned what activities to do, and learned where to eat. One in Charleston, South Carolina, One in Washington, DC, and one to Durango, Colorado

  • I helped lead our house (determinora) to victory. 

  • I have been a part of 63 exhibitions

  • I participated in the Millennial choir concert 2 times

  • I ran a car wash for a fundraiser

  • I pitched and applied to my high school. In front of 8 judges. And got in.
